NGNL, Anime Pick of the Week

Of path all of us understand and love this anime. If you are like me, you likely even don’t forget the primary time you observed this anime. Oh how I desire I may want to watch No Game No Life once more for the primary time. But man, even in the end those years and with out a sequel (yes, we are nevertheless loopy approximately Madhouse), NGNL is one of the quality anime I’ve visible so far. It in no way receives uninteresting even after more than one viewings and is a whole enjoy for first-time visitors.

So welcome lower back to some other installment in our encouraged anime series! Today we are speakme approximately the loved No Game No Life or NGNL (for the sake of my SEO). Easily one of the maximum iconic animes of all time and an anime with a giant wide variety of dependable enthusiasts which can be nevertheless begging for a sequel to this day.

NGNL is based on Kamiya Yuu’s LN of the same name. It started its serialization in April 2012 and it’s still going strong, believe it or not. No, it’s not a break, but it’s actually going on. The anime is of course by Madhouse. it has What’s this Season with 12 episodes and a prequel film. Even after all these years, we have absolutely nothing on the sequel. sad.

NGNL is an Isekai at its core, but you’ll soon forget that. Brilliant gamer siblings Sora and Shiro are contacted by the god of games and transported to another world after defeating him in a game of chess. In this new world, everything, every single conflict, from small quarrels to big wars, is solved with the help of games. And yes, any type of game will work as long as both parties agree to it.

No Game No Life is a new problem considered for you "conteúdo impróprio" - Anime United

Right off the bat, NGNL has an interesting premise. However, what you don’t see right away is the amount of worlds and plot twists this anime will throw at you. I won’t spoil anything because if you haven’t seen the anime, the surprise factor really makes it better. But the amount of world building accomplished in just 12 episodes is kind of insane. And don’t even get me started on the plot twists ^^.

NGNL doesn’t have that many characters, but all of the main characters are pretty well written. Be it Sora or Shiro appearing in every episode or be it Tet appearing only in about 2 episodes. All the main characters are super well written and have different personalities. Heck, even the previous king of humans who died before the anime started gets some good characters written. So yeah, you’re sure to like the characters. However, Sora and Shiro are unbeatable.

Animations and Soundtracks

The animations look a bit dated at this point. However, the art style is quite unique. It uses a very light color palette and really embraces fantasy influences. Props to Madhouse for maintaining the LN’s art style in the anime. As for the soundtracks, you might already know that NGNL has one of the most iconic opening themes of all time. I don’t remember the ending theme that much, but BGMs are pretty decent too.

Why should you watch NGNL?

Quick notes why you should watch this anime:

  • great plot
  • great characters
  • many twists
  • unique art style

That’s all for now. Let me know what you think in the comments. And yes, I say goodbye here. Be sure to check out NGNL this week, I don’t care if you’ve already seen it or not! Bye!!
